Being that I have been in the web industry since 96, when there was only 100k websites; surfing the web used to be so much easier. You would type in your common interest within a search engine and find the closest matching website: job done. Now days we have to battle with the police state of Websense, an application that was produced for the sole intent of filtering internet content and blocking it under company administrators rules. So what are the main categories that they block?
I sit at my desk, with a couple of computers, a fan that blows three little strips of paper to notify any prying hands that it is on (Health and Safety); even though the fan has a front and rear guard. This little 4ft x 4ft space is quite scruffy, as I play on being very busy and slightly eccentric. This keeps the management away from needing to approach me. However, they spend most of their days in meetings anyway talking about nothing.

Obviously there is a need to reboot my cerebral cortex for that rather obnoxious statement. Years ago, I would have thought that such a statement to be true. Sadly, today my opinion towards my country is very different.
So what is the big deal about the need for super markets? Once upon a time, we had a butcher, baker and green grocer. These three delightful shops would provide you with that personal shopping experience and if you were a regular, you know they would always add a little extra for that “thanks for shopping with me”.
